The Toyota Avanza is a mini MPV designed by Daihatsu and marketed by Toyota. The name "Avanza" was taken from the Italian word "avanzato", which means "advance". The Avanza is a new model developed as an entry level MPV. The second generation Avanza is featured with increased dimensions and a more passenger car like design and was launched on 7 November 2011 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Toyota Avanza 1.5-liter version of the Avanza shared great wheel design, and both of them has an outer mirror with turning signal lamp. The interior of Avanza 1.5 G has a double DIN audio system with radio, CD, MP3 player, multi information display and tilt steering as standard and also have Dual SRS airbags as standard. The 2nd Generation Toyota Avanza features a unique design language for a compact MPV. The front end features angular upswept headlights, a curved chrome trapezium styled grille, a large bumper with a trapezium shaped air intake and standard fog lights. The sides of the car feature large flared wheel arches and subtle curves. The rear end features upswept stacked taillights, a standard tailgate with a roof spoiler and a large rear bumper. The overall styling of the 2nd Generation Toyota Avanza in distinctive and features subtle, elegant styling cues throughout the bodywork that allow it to differentiate itself from its rivals.
